Kenny Hills Bakers first opened their doors in 2014, serving high quality food and beverages and has been maintaining that purpose till this very day! Thanks to their well deserved success, today they have 4 branches, Bukit Tunku, Waterfront at Desa Park City, Ampang and Bangsar Shopping Centre (their 5th branch is opening soon at TTDI!). I went during January 2021, for an early dinner and was super excited! I went before 6pm and there was already a queue? For a table of 4, we waited around 10 minutes which was alright, but the queue was double the length right after 6pm, so I do recommend coming earlier (you can only do booking for after 8pm slots)! There are also parking lots outside the restaurant, but it is quite limited and we parked quite far from the restaurant! There is an indoor and outdoor seating area, we sat outdoor since we didn't want to wait for a seat inside, but I'll talk about why you gotta sit indoor later!

The entrance of the restaurant

The KHB Beef Burger (RM 40)
After we sat down and ordered, the food arrived in 20 minutes, which is relatively fast knowing they were full house! The KHB Beef Burger was the star, the caramelised onions with its JUICYYYY black angus beef patty was mouth watering! The beef was a perfect medium, one bite and the flavours hits you and you can’t help to open your eyes widely. I mean just look at that bun GLOWINNN, they gotta drop it skincare! The bun was super fluffy and soft, yet sturdy for the burger. The components of the burger are very simple, but they made it so GOOD, it was sweet yet savoury, and had the perfect ratio of a burger! The fries were nice and crispy and the salad was refreshing with a sweet salad dressing! This is added to one of the best beef burgers I ever had in Malaysia! 🍔

Smoked Salon 12 inch wood-fire Sourdough Pizza (RM 42)
We also ordered a Smoked Salmon 12 inch wood-fired sourdough pizza for sharing, this was just alright. It had a cream base + generous amount of smoked salmon with tons of green veg, the perfect balance, but somehow lacking a bit of flavours, maybe add more cream sauce will be better? The crust was just alright, wished it was more toasted, cause I love it toasty and brown! Honestly I'll recommend skipping their pizza cause their other mains are better!

Rib Eye Roast Beef Thai Salad (RM 33)
Another sharing dish we had was a Rib Eye Roast Beef Thai Salad, honestly I’m not much of a salad person so I wasn’t expecting much. Surprisingly, I loved it, the dressing is a spiced sweet tamarind dressing, it was sweet yet had that slight spicy kick, reminding me of a Thai sweet chilli sauce (which i love)! The beef was also perfectly cooked, it wasn't tough to eat and it melts in your mouth!! It also had some fried onions which gave it that extra crispy texture and overall this salad DELISH! Will definitely be ordering this again!

Crispy Fried Chicken Burger (RM 33)
For the last main, we ordered a Crispy Fried Chicken Burger, everything was the same other than it was chicken and the sauce. The chicken was super crunchy, crispy and juicy, anything with fried chicken is automatically good you really can’t go wrong! But the beef burger still has my heart heh! Ok so by the time we finished our mains while seated at the outdoor section, we were bitten by so many mosquitoes! My whole leg and feet were super itchy and was covered by red spots! There were a lot of trees near the outdoor area and i guess since it was evening, these little killers all came out for their dinner! That's why we decided to take away the desserts back home cause we couldn't stand it anymore! Regretted sitting outside but if we sat indoor, the lighting wouldn't be good... so i guess nothing is perfect in life...

Tiramisu Cake - No Alcohol (RM 15)

Macademia Cheesecake (RM 18)

CNY Theme Macaron (RM 8+)

Snickers Cake (RM 16)

Crumble Cheesecake (RM 15)
Ok ok now for desserts! Here are some pictures I took at their cake section, but of course I couldn't take pictures of all the cakes because THERE WERE TOO MANY!! Literally a dessert heaven, was spoilt for choice and wanted to get everything!! They also have some danish, pies, tarts and croissants! However, their popular Peach Strudel was sold out 😢The cake and counter area was quite small as well, a lot of people coming in and out so it was a bit squeezey.

Tiramisu (RM 15) and Lemon Meringue Pie (RM 15)
After we got home, we finally had the sweet treats!! The Tiramisu was so rich and creamy, I love the ample amount of nuts on the outer layer, giving it that extra crunchy texture, and the coffee was super rich but balanced out well with sweet cream! It reminded me of the tiramisu cake from Alexis which is a good thing, just without those chocolate shards! The Lemon Meringue Pie, offtt this was perfect, the perfect harmony between the tartness from the lemon and the sweetness was a 10/10, + the biscuit base was super crunchy just the way I love it!

The perfect place to take some OOTDs for the gram
Will definitely be back here one day and I can’t wait already cause it’s the best place to get good food + good desserts, they have a breakfast menu as well you can always find something right to eat here (for breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert)! Oh and also their staff also told me they are actually expanding their Bukit Tunku store, taking the shop lot beside i think, and will remove the outdoor seating area due to a lot of people getting mosquitos bites! Hopefully their new lot will be a nice indoor with very good natural sunlight hehe (every foodie/photographer dream)!
